Your Well-Being Is in Good Hands
Are you struggling with issues related to trauma, grief, addiction, anxiety, or major life changes? There comes a time when help is needed from a certified professional to cope with many of life’s challenges. I’m a licensed Therapist in the greater Los Angeles and I’m here to support you on your journey toward healing and self-discovery.
Thank you for visiting my page! As your therapist, I am honored to take this journey with you.
A little bit about me:
Many years ago, I was working with teenagers and families as a case manager and decided that I wanted to be of more service. I wanted to provide more solutions and have deeper connections to people to help people reach their goals. I decided that obtaining a higher level of education to become a therapist would help me to do just that. Since graduating from Antioch University in 2003, I have had the pleasure in working with teenagers and their families, adults, and our young children in various settings. Throughout my years of experience, I have treated individuals and families who suffer from depression, grief, anxiety, drug/alcohol addiction, schizophrenia, domestic violence, bipolar, trauma and PTSD.
In my 20 years experience, I've learned throughout my work with others the following things: people are all inherently good and need to be reminded of their goodness. People want to find solutions to what brings them pain and people want to feel supported in their journey. My approach focuses on finding your strengths in order to highlight what is best about you. I focus on being collaborate to ensure that you have a voice in your treatment and the patterns that you are experiencing to bring you pain. As I have significant training in trauma, I work to help you to heal wounds from past trauma and grief so that you can feel confident in exploring alternative ways. I think what's most important to strive for when you are looking for a therapist is the ability to feel connected. Sessions with me will not only work on the issues that you present, but will also focus on feeling connected and cared for - so that you can then, in turn, increase your own self care and self love.
My specialties: Grief and loss (parent loss and abandonment), Depression and anxiety, Domestic Violence, Family therapy, co-parenting, relationship and work stressors, addictions.
